My wife Linda and I made our first trip to White Thorn Lodge this last summer, we also had our kids with us (ages 12-10)and we had a blast! we have been nudist for some years now. we are members of Alpine Resort and wanted to try something new, and loved it and have plans on returning this summer. Just like to say that the Super Bowl this year (2012) was just as great as the rest with the exception of Betty and Wayne not being there. That did make me sad. Betty was there but not in her normal capacity. We have been to many Super Bowls and have just camped at WTL and we have had an excellent time every time we have been there. A big thank you to all of the members for going to so much work on these events to make them so wonderful. We will be back and again thank you so much for all of your hard work.

My goodness, what a weekend!! We are members at a park in Ontario, and have not had the opportunity to visit any clubs in the U.S. But we attended the Superbowl, and did we ever love it!!! The grounds were immaculate, and the members unbelievably helpful and friendly! The tourney organizers did a fantastic job, and it ran smooth as silk! We have done nothing but gush to everyone we know since our return. The cost was incredibly low, and we got WAY more than our moneys worth!
We honestly couldn't have had a better weekend!
Thank you so much to the members of the Lodge, and we will return next year, no matter what!
And again, sorry to all the peeps I watched the game with, I hope I didn't offend anyone when I cheered for the Broncos during their victory!!! :!devil:

I feel ridiculous writing this, but I can't wait for next year, and good luck with the new pool and hot tub!!

My husband and I decided to go to WTL for our wedding anniversary and I am glad we did. This was our first nudist experience and it was life changing. The people at WTL were extremely welcoming. I started the welcome wagon wearing a towel and before I knew it I was completely naked. I now feel more confident in myself! Both my husband and I are in our mid thirties and we wished we would have done this sooner!

My first visit to WTL was exciting. My husband had brought the idea to my attention, and I was very nervous - I had no idea what to expect. Curiosity finally got the best of me, so we paid a visit. The tour was great, the people were so warm and inviting, the grounds are amazing, and after about ten minutes I was finally able to "drop my towel". We've since been back a few times, and each visit just keeps getting better! We are hoping to become members by next season, as we have found our "home away from home"! Thank you WTL!!

WOW!!! Went to the LUAU as a first timer with only a couple of winter swims prior. Super nervous but met the nicest people!!! Was a little scared announcing myself with the mike at the main gate and wondering if it was on a loud speaker or what but got to the main gate and the fun began!!! One guy noticed my front license plate and asked some questions and I was hoping to meet him again and talk some more but didnt and then I got a guided tour of the campgrounds and it is really nice! Enjoyed some yummy salad from the snack bar and iced tea while trying not to be self conscious about being TOTALLY naked! It is so weird for a basically first timer... Later while exploring by myself Kathy smiled and said "HI" and I talked to her and her friend Marty the rest of the afternoon! That was great becuase I only knew one person (Ken) from the swims and was by myself so I assumed I would be reading my book all day and trying to look like I fit in but the afternoon flew by with background music from the DJ and GREAT conversation!!! Soon it was time for the Luau and the lines were long but by then I was chilling in the pool with a noodle and meeting some members who gave me the history of WTL and told me about the new BIGGER pool for 2013. I wandered up to check on my things and get a drink and met Superbowl Betty and chatted with her for awhile. GREAT lady! Got in line with my mouth watering and it took three trips to sample all the goodies! Watched the volleyball games off and on all day and was really impressed with the players!
Hit the pool again and did some exercises to work off the meal HAHA! and then the hot tub so I could feel all melty and then a quick shower. I wandered around saying good bye to all my new friends but missed Kathy and since she was the first person to say "HI" I really wanted to THANK her! So THANKS KATHY you really made my day GREAT!!!!

I come to Whitethorn with my male friend once or twice a year for the past 12-15 years we love to skinny dip- and its harder to find a place to do that
we like the people here and know that everyone is mature and decent.

I, too, was a newbie to nudism when I visited White Thorn Lodge this past Saturday for the 5K State Line Streak. I immediately felt comfortable with the concept and enjoyed sharing comments with other entrants before, during, and after the race. Being a resident of the area, I regret not visiting the lodge years ago. I am grateful that the race provided the incentive for me to finally visit. I hope that other locals, who have been holding back from visiting, do themselves a favor and make their way to this gorgeous multi-sport and recreational facility for an enjoyable time socializing with pleasant people.

I visited White Thorn Lodge last week to participate in the Streak Naked 5K Race. It was both my first naked run and my first visit to a nudist club. Everyone was very warm and welcoming, and I was quickly put at ease. The pool and hot tub were particularly inviting, and the grounds were beautiful. I live over four hours away, so I can't visit often, but I will definitely be back!

I enjoyed the first time WTL 5K. It was a very challenging course, but will do it again next year. I visit WTL whenever I can and every time is more enjoyable than the last. Thanks to everyone that makes one feel comfortable.

I recently visited WTL for the first time. It was also my first social nudist experience. I was a little nervous and did keep a towel wrapped around me for a while, but the people there were exceptional at making me feel welcome and comfortable. Lots of very friendly folks there.
Also, the grounds are simply breathtaking and there are lots of opportunities to go out and experience them.
I am looking forward to visiting again, this time for the whole weekend!

I'm fairly new to the nudist scene. My friends are too scared to come with me. And i hate doing things by myself. I'm a single guy approaching 40 looking for friends to run around naked with. I went to the camp in medina last year and people there said white thorn was a nice place. Hopefully more people my age to do more than just swim. Volleyball, tennis?

I have been telling myself for a few years now that I was going to go to WTL. Today I went and I felt like there was no better place to go on a Saturday afternoon. It was so relaxing and everyone was so nice and made me feel right at home. I will definitley be returning no doubt about it, I may be there next weekend......

I have wanted to visit a nudist park for a long time. I am retired and have been a widower for several years. I finally got the chance to visit WTL a few years back during the superbowl of volleyball. I had some apprehensions, but they soon disappeared. The people I met were very open and helpful. I felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time I spent there. I have no regrets and would go back anytime.
