Clubhouse:
The 40' x 60' clubhouse, with its stone and concrete patio, is the focus of club social events. Members and their guests attend the weekend dances with bands and DJs, dinners, meetings, and floor and step aerobics. Several times each summer, afternoon concerts are held outdoors on the patio.

Swimming Pool:
The 26' x 50' swimming pool is heated. The surrounding grassy area has lounges for sunning and socializing. Outdoor showers, an indoor bathhouse, and the sauna are a few feet away.

Tennis/Volleyball Courts:
White Thorn has two blacktop tennis courts, two blacktop volleyball courts, and two new sand volleyball courts. Nearby, a grass all-purpose playing field is transformed into grass volleyball courts for Superbowl, and the tennis courts become two additional Superbowl volleyball courts.

Hot Tub and Gazebo:
The new hot tub is accessible from the swimming pool, and is covered with a gazebo built by nearby Amish contractors.

Bocce Court:
The regulation bocce court with its surrounding shaded lawn is a favorite gathering place every day and evening for both experienced and novice bocce players. The pool, children's playground, and horseshoe pits are close by.

Rental Cabins:
Four rental rooms were built by the members (as were most facilities at White Thorn) and face the large open camping area. We recommend that you make a reservation (via telephone only) well in advance of a weekend visit.

Snack Bar:
The snack bar (centered between the pool, tennis courts, volleyball courts, rental cabins and clubhouse) is managed and staffed by volunteer members. Breakfast and Lunch are served Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays. Check the events schedule for activity based Dinner events as we often hold pot lucks and cookouts through the Summer.
